3Com this week is set to launch a new branch office version of its high-end VCX IP telephony platform.
This platform provides full-featured survivability to the remote and spread out offices and outpost facilities of large enterprises.
According to 3Com, unlike competitive offerings, 3Com’s VCX V6000 Integrated Branch Communications platform will provide an affordable way to keep its enterprise customers’ branch office VoIP systems up and running locally without scaling down features if they lose their WAN connection.
