Taking a step forward AOL has decided to offer VoIP service with free phone numbers. So that it can dominate the VoIP market. As per the plan prepared by the AOL, AIM Phoneline will come with a free phone number which can receive incoming calls from any type of phone.
AOL has also decided to start an upgraded version of its AOL Phonline Unlimted service. AOL Phoneline charges $14.95 a month fee from customers for the outgoing calls. AOL will facilitate its customers to make unlimited calls to all local and long distance numbers. The customers can also make calls to 30 overseas countries.
Phoneline will carry all the required features of VoIP services provided that users must be logged onto AIM. It is the media through which users can access AOL email and can click to talk and hear voicemail.
