The Belkin WiFi phone is a unique compatible handheld device that can make Skype calls without PC. Here is the advantage for the customers who want to make VoIP calls when they are away from home or desktop.
Based on 802.11b/g WiFi standard, the handheld device can be functional on any WiFi network, including at hotspots and on home networks. The price of the phone is £100.
To mark the launch of first Belkin WiFi phone, Skype have announced a promotion time under which the UK customers are allowed to make free calls to landlines of their country if they purchase Skype Out credit. This offer is valid till 31 December.
