Digiweb will be offering its broadband services in collaboration with US based Bigband Networks Inc.The services will be in the major cities Dublin, Galway, Cork, Limerick, Waterford and Dundalk. The VoIP services will be offered along with IP TV services. It is expected that 1.3 million people will be benefited there.

For realizing this objective the company is in the process of establishing a reliable and flexible infrastructure. The platforms of bigband are noteworthy on this count.

The architecture being deployed assists in maintaining point-to-multipoint wireless bridge thus removing the hurdle of installation and maintenance of heavy infrastructure.

The sophisticated infrastructure being put will assist in curbing down the manpower, reducing the operating cost and increasing the reliability of the service.
