Taking a step to compile FCC ruling, BroadVoice has ensured 911 services to all most all its American customers. Now onwards, their 911 dialing would be connected to a Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP), or the National Emergency Call Center (NECC). Either of which is capable of replying emergence calls.
Based on each customer’s account, BroadVoice offers three types of 911 Services. These are Enhanced 911(E911), Basic (B911) and National Call Center 911(NCC911).
The E911 service directs the subscribers to enter and maintain their physical address location. It makes easier for the emergency personnel to reach the customers.
While in case of B911 service, the local emergency operator will not have the subscriber’s call back number or exact location. Therefore, the caller must provide that information by reaching an operator.
NCC911 service allows BroadVoice customers to call 911 and get a national operator answer. When a NCC911 operator replies the call, the customer must also identify his or her physical location to enable the operator to dispatch emergency personnel properly.
