Cisco systems claimed that the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Taxation Bureau has implemented its Unified Communications solution. This upgradation is considered as the largest Unified Communications project based on IP telephony within China’s taxation system.
About 2,600 Cisco Unified IP phones are being installed at fifteen state level and one hundred and fifteen country level offices. The program was completed in March 2006. Now the Bureau expects huge profits through this project within one and half year.
The taxation bureau will be able to reduce communication costs by adopting this system and enhance its operational efficiency.
