Comcast has a target of one million new customers which it wants to add to its customer base of its VoIP service. It had added 202,000 Comcast Digital Voice customers during 2005 which reflected the rollout of the service to 25 new markets which included Atlanta, Boston, Chicago and Seattle. The company has taken great steps in building the foundation and this would significantly pace up their Comcast Digital Voice business during 2006. This would enable the company to fully market a bundled offering of voice, video and high speed internet products. The company expects to add 3.5 million new revenue generating units which would include one million Comcast Digital Voice customers during 2006 representing a 35% increase over the previous year.
