Taiwan-based E-Ten Information has combined two latest technologies GPS and VoIP and built a Windows Mobile-based Smartphone for its customers.
Dubbed as Glofiish X500, the handheld device is a PDA equipped with Skype software. It also offers quad-band GSM and Enhanced Data Rates for GSM Evolution, General Packet Radio Service and Enhanced GPRS.
The slimmest set (15.5 millimeters) with in-built 2.0 megapixel camera empowers users to bypass their mobile phone company and sue Skype when there is a WiFi hotspot.
It also provides E-mail services from its Windows Mobile 5.0 OS, IMAP/POP and enabling the smartphone to compete with BlackBerry devices.
