Now, these mobile phones will combine GSM/GPRS cellular technology with the latest VoWLAN technology to make FMC in reality. The vPort embedded VoIP engine software platform allows customers to enhance their mobile VoIP features. D2’s vPort embedded VoIP software allows manufacturers to deliver the latest IP communications devices by ensuring networking, signaling and voice processing functions and execute as an integrated solution on a single processor. VPort also improves the performance for the latest devices, including VoWLAN and dual-mode (Wi-Fi VoIP and cellular) phone handsets.

D2’s vPort software platform provides an advanced VoIP telephony features like protocol signaling and soft DSP voice algorithm processing. Additionally, it is flexible platform, which supports multiple services like SIP based VoIP and VoIM services. D2’s vPort software platform runs on the ARM9 processor and also provides the soft DSP functions to enable Wi-Fi VoIP capability.
