Will Efonica beat Skype? The question may sound extremely strange, since Skype has a strong base in the major IP hubs of the world. However, the way Fusion is gaining momentum in the present VoIP market, it would not be surprising to put the above question.
The 100 per cent Fusion Telecommunications-owned Dubai-based firm Efonica has now more than 100,000 registered subscribers in less than a month. Fusion started its new Efonica service on June 19 and has already attained registrations from over 50 countries around the world. This is an indication of Fusion’s growing popularity.
Matthew Rosen, President and CEO of Fusion commented,
This is a historic day for Fusion. We have had a strong consumer response to our innovative VoIP offering, and are delighted that our vision of creating a worldwide Efonica calling community is becoming a reality so quickly. The company is excepting more subscribers in the coming days.
Efonica facilitates its customers to dial any landline or mobile phone around the globe with its efoOut service, and to schedule a call between two phone numbers when they are away from their softphone or SIP enabled device with its efoLink service.
