On Monday, Empirix introduced an integrated active testing device in its Hammer XMS Solution. It has blade architecture for complex testing for the Hammer FX. The active testing injects test calls through networks and gives the results.
It complements Hammer XMS’ existing passive VoIP monitoring, which performs extensive media and integrated signaling analysis. The active testing will offer end-to-end view of the network and it is capable of testing of high level of following functions:
1. Reverse call
2. Call forwarding
3. Complex feature testing.
