Here is a major development in the VoIP World. Now, the Firefox VoIP extensions will be available for the popular operating systems like Mac and Linux.
Abeeyphone Labs, a Europe-based VoIP company has pioneered the first version of Firefox VoIP extension June this year. Now, it has brought Firefox VoIP extensions for MacOSX and Linux OS.
Luca Filigheddu, writing on the new release has found out following features of the new extension:
1.The users can access the service by simply logging in at the Abeeyphone site.
2.The new versions can be used to access VoIP services and clients including Skype, Gizmo Project and Yahoo.
3.The users can use these VoIP extensions with the Asterisk server or their company proxy/register.
