fring goes roaming

Fring has added auto roaming facility in its mobile VoIP service giving Symbian phone holders an easy way to switch between a cellular voice provider and a VoIP provider.

Fring is a downloadable mobile phone application ensuring P2P 3G VoIP services to Symbian phones. The main features of Fring includes VoIP services without WiFi, Skype support, Google Talk services, Simple installation and no air-time charge, Full-duplex voice quality and user friendly application.

With this latest addition, Fring can now work both on WiFi and 3G. In other words, Fring will route calls via VoIP when the WiFi network is available. If Wi-Fi is not available, fring accesses 3G/GPRS respectively.

The unique feature of Fring auto roaming is that it operates independent of network type and provider and any Fring-supported handheld devices. It enables users the freedom and optimal experience to automatically roam between any available Wi-Fi and 3G networks.

Fring has moved a step ahead in the emerging MVoIP market by enabling its users to enjoy mobile VoIP services on their Windows Mobile 5.0 and 6.0 series handheld devices. It shows a major expansion of Fring’s MVoIP community.
