Hughes network Systems has released new VoIP capable satellite broadband routers. The DW7740 model features two VoIP ports combined with two broadband LAN ports which enable international service operators to provide a flexible range of voice and high speed data services from a single compact integrated platform.
DW7740 is suited for carrier grade VoIP services which enables service providers to offer superior quality telephony integrated with broadband IP support. It automatically reserves bandwidth on a call by call basis which provides high quality voice without dropped packets. Voice calls are routed by DW network operations center routes via a voice gateway to the PSTN or to a PBX for internal enterprise voice traffic.
