VoIP Market has undergone a dramatic change in these days. The recognized leaders are struggling to lure the customers where as the new comers make a goal. Just consider Gizmo and Jajah, the two VoIP service providers who some months ago have extended their attractive packages to challenge the bigwigs like Skype and Vonage.
Recently, the Voice market has marked the entry of another service provider Hullo joining the fray with its free product. It is quite similar to that of Jajah, though notable differences prevail between them.
Jajah as we know provides easy phone-to-phone calls from their website. These phone calls are free for the customers in America and Europe. To make a call, the users just need to type their phone number and phone number of the person whom they are calling. Therefore, it seems to be an ordinary phone call. Jajah usually insists the customers to call from their website, although they have an Outlook plugin, firefox extension and Mac address book plugin for calling.
However making calls using Hullo service is somewhat different from the Jajah. It is a client based application and appears like an instant message box. However, the only disadvantage is that it is available for windows machines.
The users can make a call from any normal phone or directly from their PC equipped with speakers, headsets and a microphone. Hullo also enables us to make group calling by dragging contacts into the call or adding a new phone number.
Hullo can also be used as a call-forwarding device that provides user an extension on a normal phone number. When that number is dialed, Hullo will call your saved phone numbers in the order as you direct.
