Intel and Skype have come together to provide free 10 way conference calls to its users. This feature would be available in version 2.0 of Skype. The ten way conference would be possible if the user has a PC equipped with its Pentium D processors or Core Duo as both of them are dual core chips. If a person is using Skype 2.0 or higher and an Intel Centrino Duo mobile technology based laptop PC or an Intel Pentium D processor based desktop PC, he would be able to conference up to ten people at the same time. The partnership is expected to ensure that Skype performs better as compared to any other internet calling application and drive widespread business and consumer application
