It seems Skype has hooked me today. Anyway, the story is that European telecom operator Interoute has shown ambitions to take on Skype (who doesn’t by the way?) on its home continent. It announced that it is going to introduce a VoIP service just the way Skype provides to businesses.
Interoute claims that its new iSiP service offering will ease the security concerns of businesses. Anyway, did you know that Inteoute have termed a special name for security issues related with Skype? Well, they call it the ‘Skypemare’ phenomenon. I didn’t know that as well. Interroute says that iSiP will be like Skype without ‘Skypemare’!
The cost? Well, Interoute says that it will offer iSiP for around $2,620 per month to companies, with unlimited number of users.
