The rumor is that Yahoo is likely to offer online Voice conference calling services to its customers. The service is quite similar to that of Skype.
VoIP Watch in a post ‘Rumors About....Are Starting’ said,
A little birdie told me that Yahoo may be aiming to take a bite out of Skype’s efforts to be the online voice conference calling harbinger.
I’m hoping to learn more next week but on the heals of the AOL Developer Program news, it clearly shows the Voice 2.0 is alive, well and starting to really bubble.
