Jajah enables iPhone users to make inexpensive calls on almost any phone in the world without a WiFi connection. The users just need to spot their iPhone to mobile.jajah.com and then enter their Jajah user name and password to access global calling with fellow Jajah users.
The Austria-based company claims JAJAH is the alternative to expensive AT&T long distance/global calls.
Explaining the importance of the recent ‘Free Your iPhone’ campaign, Jajah says:
The iPhone is one of the most innovative and elegant products ever made. Truly revolutionary. The calling plan that comes with it, on the other hand, is not innovative or elegant.
As of now, you cannot call outside USA without purchasing an international plan from AT&T. It is very expensive at $3.99 per month. If you call to London from USA, you need to pay 23 cents per minute. Using Jajah, you just need to pay 3 cents for the same call.
