Jajah.com, the new web-activated telephony service is now available for the customers. Unlike Skype and Vonage, Jajah is a VoIP which does not require downloads, installation, headsets and other such special hardware.



It targets the customers who don’t have the time or skills to get started with the existing VoIP services. Jajah’s co-founder Roman Scharf explains that the company’s VoIP service is so simple that a common can use it. Users can use this service by typing the phone number and the number that one would want to call on Jajah’s web page. After that, the users should click the call button and the service bridges the phones.



The service allows customers to make long distance and international calls (mobile or landline) to most of the numbers for less than two cents a minute. The company charges no registration fee or monthly fee and also no prepayment. The Company has decided to take a number of initiatives to capture the market. It plans to arrange conference calls. It expects to get one million paying users by year-end. The leading VoIP service provider Skype has some 200 million registered users and 1.5 million paying.
