Loral Skynet, US satellite Communications Company is going to announce its partnership with a VoIP platform provider to develop the VoIP offerings in Latin America, North America and Europe.
Last month, Loral Skynet made a partnership with Go2Call to launch its service in Asia.
Loral provides global IP connectivity through Telstar global satellite fleet and SkyReach IP service. The Go2Call’s platform is the interface between businesses and government organizations. Loral and Go2Call are expecting telcos and ISPs to resell this service.
This venture would be the first global network operator in Latin America to provide VoIP services.
According to company executives, soon Loral will take its position in Latin America with its IP and data services.
