Tom Keating writes about Skype’s new offer to bid for talking to a Hollywood star. Actually, to get the privilege to talk to your favourite star (though he/she might not be in the small list there) you will have to outbid others.
He writes that he finally got the clue why eBay spent those billions for Skype that many were amused. Well, I agree with him. This is one of many money making innovations that eBay will come up with using Skype.
Well, one word for Tom here. If you were single, you might have been game for putting yourself up for bidding using Skype for a dinner date with a lass to some far getaway inn in your sexy Viper (and you could pay a small commission to eBay for that). Mind you, there are quite a few who would do anything for that with a successful bespectacled geek with a Viper! *heh*
Jokes apart, the bidding closes on March 3rd, but I reckon the fun has just begun for both the average American and eBay-Skype as well!
