Mediacorp TV has invited 2,000 users to be part of the IPTV trial group for its new video on demand service. This service allows subscribers an easy and immediate access to MediaCorp programs on their PCs and laptops. The service is scheduled to be launched in the middle of the year and it would enable immediate digital streaming of MediaCorp TV Channel 8, Channel 5 and Channel U shows. Users would be able to watch their favorite shows again at any time of the day or night and in a format that would be convenient for them. The feedback from trial users would be used for determining the pricing packages for the new service.
