UK’s first WiFi mobile VoIP service provider, Mobiboo Mobile has announced the launch of its two tovo phones, Tovo t450g PocketFone and the Tovo t1000 HomeFone Plus combining the freedom of a mobile with the quality of a landline.
The company claims that consumers can save an average of 30 percent on their mobile charges and up to 50 percent on fixed line charges if they opt for new tovo service, which is captured in the tovo phones. These phones are now available in the Tesco stores across the UK.
Using Tovo phones, the customers can make free calls to other Mobiboo customers anywhere in the world. There are no roaming charges when abroad. At the same time, the incoming calls are free from any phone worldwide.
However, the customers must pay a small amount (2p per minute locally and internationally) if they are calling to non-mobiboo users. To access all these services, the customers must have WiFi access at home, at work or a WiFi hot spot.
The t450 PocketFone is a WiFi VoIP phone, which enables you to make international calls even if you are not at your home, plainly speaking in the absence of a PC. Where as, the tovo t1000 HomeFone looks like an ordinary phone for use at home.

Hi,
Does this work as a GSM phone too, and what is the price tag on it.
Thank you,

I have one of these tovo phones and it’s great. It works as a GSM phone and is not locked, so it will work on any network. I would recommend it. Also try their Mobiboo Dashboard ... that is so cool. www.mobiboo.com
