While other companies are still planning to provide full-pledged Skype mobile service, MOBIVOX has moved a step ahead in this direction. The company, which was better known as VoxLib in the past, has launched a service what it claims first of its kind in the world to provide VoIP services to any mobile phone.
The new service brings local access numbers for the customers, using which, they can call to reach Skype contacts and also both mobile and landline contacts. As of now, the local numbers are available in 23 countries in the world.
The MOBIVOX MVoIP service also enables users to make conference calls upto 10 people and a place to combine their address books.
The most important feature of MOBIVOX is that it does not require a client download, PC, Connection fee or contract.
The company initially targets the customers in England and US, the countries where Skype has major hubs.
