Motorola has entered into an agreement to purchase Swedish Linux-based IPTV set-up boxes (STBs) Kreatel Communications. Kreatel, which supplies STBs to service providers all over Europe will be integrated into Motorola’s Connect Home Solutions business.
Kreatel has a 6-year history of selling IPTV STBs to customers. It’s customers include some big names like
1. KPN of Holland.
2. Telefonica of Spain, and
3. TeliaSonera of Sweden
