This is a strong point to mark the increasing popularity of Mobile over VoIP (MVoIP) among the business enterprises. According to the research firm, Rhetorik, MVoIP is all set to register 135 percent growth in the next two years, though the adoption of mobile VoIP is low at present.
The research firm found out that though there is a relatively low penetration of fixed and mobile convergence and mobile VoIP and a small installed base for IP PBX technology worldwide, these areas are set to grow.
The business enterprises are ready to adopt MVoIP applications to reduce telephone bills despite concerns over the security issues, the initial costs of upgrading systems and the support services available for converged networks.
The research firm claimed that enhancing business efficiency, reducing costs and improving customer service were some of factors that would lead to quick adoption of new convergence technologies among the business enterprises.
