Nokia is planning to launch SIP ready phone, which could be a great feature for consumer mobile market. People using this phone can access the VoIP service which complies with that protocol. The dual mode celluar and WLAN phone will be launched in first half of next year and would enable users to make VoIP calls using service from ISPs and CATV companies. Later in the year that functionality will also reach the cellular network, Rauno Toivonen, director of voice solutions product marketing at the Espoo, said. He also said “Nokia does not, however, envisage the enablement of roaming between the two network types in either phase. That’s for the future.”

What is the type number of that phone?
Is it the already announced E60 ?
Nokia hasn`t officialy announced any special phone.
I think E60 has WLAN capabilities but not any SIP client installed.
we are getting close to a very very small world with phones with this functions!
