Cable VoIP has reached its all-time high in North America with nearly 11,000 new customers are signing up for the service every day, Cable Digital News(CDN) reveals.
Based on the second quarter results submitted by different cable operators, the CDN report records North American Cable Operators have registered more than one million VoIP customers for the first time during the spring. The growth rate is very high in comparison to the first quarter gain. The first quarter registered just 100,000 subscribers.
Now, the VoIP customers’ base has touched to 4.8 million by end of June 2006 in North America from 3.7 million customers at the close of the first quarter.
