Internap, the Routing systems provider, announced that broadband service provider Rapid Link have entered into an agreement to provide collocation and high performance IP services. This move will help the Rapid Link to serve US military and other telecom services.
Internap provides routing to VoIP calls made by 25,000 military family customers of Rapid Link more than 50 countries on five continents. Other providers like Vonage and BroadVoice also use the Internap technology.
The system uses proprietary route-control technology continuously to monitoring the performance, packet loss, congestion and availability of routes across multiple networks. It provides 24×7x365 direct access to certified network engineers.
Internap is extending its professional service portfolio now, which also includes VoIP Assessment and Optimization service.
