Skype is always in news. The popular VoIP outfit has added yet another chapter to its feat by launching a 2.2 beta version of its software for windows mobile smartphones.
Using the latest version, the smartphone users who can enjoy Skype calls anywhere in the world provided by there must be a WiFi access point or HotSpot. It has also an enhanced support for Pocket PC devices.
The Skype 2.2 for windows mobile smartphones possesses basic features like the earlier versions including free Skype-to-Skype calls, support for SkypeIn and SkypeOut, voicemail and call forwarding and multiple chat facility.
The new version consumes 12MB of free storage memory to install Skype on users’ device and 6MB of storage memory if installed from a memory card.
