I came to know from Informitv that the Venice Project that started sometime in July this year by Skype and Kazaa founders, Janus Friis and Niklas Zennstrom is coming to a conclusion soon. The online TV distribution project will be launched at the Future of Television Forum in NY next month.
The Venice Project, combines the best things about television with the social power of the internet. So far, we have not much information regarding the project.
One thing is clear, the online TV service is not based on file-sharing application or a video download service. We have to wait still the first presentation of the project next month.
