I have posted two major VoIP stories this week. The first one is the release of Skype 3.0. The second one is obviously the addition of Skype to Google Pack.
I found out Skype option in the Google Pack, a free downloadable software suite.
The Google Pack includes Google Earth, a 3D Earth browser, Google Desktop, Picasa, Google Toolbar, Google Pack Screensaver. Besides all these, there are also Mozilla Firefox browser, Norton Antivirus, Adware antispyware, Adobe Systems and Acrobat Reader.
Skype comes under the optional software category. Google Talk, Google Video Player, Real Player and GalleryPlayer HD Images are also in this category.
Explaining Skype addition, Google said,
By adding Skype to the Google Pack in 27 countries, Google is providing users with the ability to easily download Skype to communicate with millions of Skype users for free and inexpensively call landlines and mobile phones.
