It is my second post on Raketu. In my first post, I talked about the nature of Raketu VoIP services. Based on that, Raketu appears more or less similar to Skype. While browsing through the net, I came across Raketu announcements. Let me explain them.
First: Try Dialout For Free promotion
Under this promotion, the company allows users to try RakOut (known as Raketu’s dialout service) to call locations in more than 40 countries free.
Second: Unlimited calling offer
Free unlimited calling to pre-paid RakOut customers anywhere in the 40 countries.
Skype has already announced free calling services to North America earlier this year. Now, Raketu extended a similar type of free offer to 40 countries including North America. Here lies the competition between the two P2P VoIP service providers.
Based on Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Technology, Raketu’s communication services includes dialout calling (rakOut) to landline phones as well as mobile phones, Instant Messaging (supporting Raketu, Yahoo!, MSN, AOL, ICQ, Google and Skype), SMS-text messaging and file transfers and sharing.
