According to a Wall Street Journal report, Warner Music Group and Skype are likely to announce a licensing agreement that will put ring tones on VoIP services.
It said that eBay owned Skype would sell the song snippets that substitute for traditional telephone rings at $1.50 each. It said that the service would start in just two months.
Furthermore, the report also says that Skype will initially promote Madonna as a featured artist. So, you can download ‘Like a Virgin’ and get ‘Frozen’ for one and half dollars.
