The leading global mobile company, T-Mobile UK has directed its customers not to use Skype and other such VoIP applications. T-mobile bans the use of VoIP services over its Web ‘n’ Walk Professional mobile Internet package.

T-Mobile described the use of two services VoIP and Messaging over Internet Protocol (or MoIP) is not permissible. If the customers violate the norms, then T-Mobile may terminate all contracts with the customers. The company has also threatened to disconnect SIM cards or Web ‘n’ cards from the T-Mobile network.



The Web ‘n’ Walk Professional or Web ‘n’ Walk card which is based on 3G access is being marketed to business users. It will provide HSDPA service. The recently launched Web ‘n’ Walk card which will integrate Wi-Fi can operate on any laptop.



The company has fixed £17 for the service with an initial £50 fee for the card.
