A new flip-style Wi-Fi VoIP phone is coming from D-Link.
The phone is not sold with VoIP technology but the customers can do programming with a whole range of SIP based Internet telephony services.
Soon the list of compatible VoIP services is available in D-Link web sites. Customers can make calls from any open Wi-Fi hot spots or wireless home networks by this phone.
The device has following features:
1. Polyphonic ring tones
2. Seven-step volume control and echo cancellation
3. A 100 name/number address book
With a cost price of $249.99 and 3.7-ounce in weight, it seems that this D-Link phone could be winner if this phone gets VoIP carrier relations.
