The third annual African VoIP forum would be held at Logos, Nigeria from 31 July to 3 August. Aitec Africa and ICT magazine, IT Edge will host the event. The event is assumed very crucial for the African countries because it will cover a range of topics. Sean Moroney of Aitec opines on the forum,

The third African Forum on Internet telephony is a unique opportunity for telecommunication operators, ISPs and corporate users to learn more about this exciting new development in communications: Voice over Internet Protocol, or VoIP.




The forum will focus on the topics like the impact of VoIP as a driving force behind the African telecommunications, VoIP: A bridge for the communication gap; A case for African VoIP networks, Regulatory battles : Users are the losers; and Africa’s VoIP regulatory mix. In addition to it, training workshops will also be organized for the corporate users which will offer basic idea about VoIP.
