eBay-owned Skype feels that the time is not so conducive for a mobile version of its VoIP service. The mobile world has to wait to see this service.
The grapevine has it that Skype would release its mobile version very soon after ensuring its VoIP services for Nokia cell phones, that operated on the third generation network run by Britain’s 3.
However, Eric Lagier expressed at the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Lucas van Grinsven, Las Vegas that while development work was being carried out, most of the other telecoms network operators had not created attractive flat-fee wireless broadband packages that were needed to take full advantage of internet calls.
