From now onwards, Verizon subscribers will enjoy VoIP services in a different way. The reason is that their handheld devices would be very soon integrated with multimedia flash applications, Verizon announced.
Developed by Adobe and Qualcomm, the flash technology supports both raster and vector graphics, enhances web applications, games, movies, and animation on PCs. These features would be added to Verizon’s ‘Get It Now’ service.
The ‘Get It Now’ is a kind of search application that allows customers to find out download content available from VZW Games, VZW Tones and VZW Pix from their mobile phones.
With this addition, Verizon has become the first North American service provider to bring Flash Lite technology for mobile phones.
