America’s leading VoIP service provider Verizon has once again stepped up to provide free calling services to the American Troops deployed in Iraq.

The free service would be available during the holiday seasons from November 22 to 28 and from December 22 to January 2, Verizon business announced.

With this announcement, happiness drew up among the families of the soldiers who want to connect with their loved ones.

In a statement, Jerry Edgerton, group president for Verizon Federal said,

For our troops stationed far away from home, hearing the sound of a loved-one’s voice can go a long way to lift the spirits during the holidays.

To make the communication process effective, the VoIP player has deployed a mobile communication facility equipped with phones in Iraq.

With this, Verizon has proved its commitment of serving national soldiers since four years.
