Taking another step to boost its continual efforts to provide cost effective and reliable VoIP software to the carriers, Vocalscape Networks, Inc. has integrated Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express to its Eyefon softphone.
This integration allows Vocalscape’s SIP-based softphone, the Eyefon users to easily import contact information to the Eyefon phone book from both Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express.
Ron McIntyre, President of Vocalscape Networks says Peoplefone AG, one of the marquee customers of Vocalscape has already incorporated the new features into their VoIP networks in Switzerland and Austria.
Vocalscape, which acquired Azatel Communications a few months ago provides Eyefon application as part of a hosted model or as a stand-alone custom branded application.
The software comes with devices including USB handsets, to provide for easy dialing and listening. The Eyefon SIP softphone can communicate from PC-to-Phone and PC-to-PC.
