We promised to track VoIP news in Asia. Here is a bit of info that got my attention about an Indian VoIP company that was working for US clients.
Buoyed by the recent success in executing wireless software testing projects for two US companies over the last one year, Chennai-based outsourced software testing services provider, Indium Software (India) Ltd, is in the process of setting up a centre of excellence for network/wireless application testing services.
Apart from bringing its experience in enterprise software testing services that it had been doing for quite some time now, the company plans to bring in sophisticated tools and various processes for the wireless testing centre.
CEO, Indium Software, N Raghunandan said;
This centre would provide end-to-end testing services for companies which are into developing wireless products.
Indium is also planning to create such a centre for VoIP applications testing in the coming months.
Indium has offices in all the major IT hubs in India like Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai. Its US office is based in Sunnyvale.
Indium has been reporting an impressive 100 % year-on-year growth for the last 2 years and hopes to end this fiscal with a revenue of about $1.5 million.
For India, VoIP is just happening though it had been around for some years now. However, for that we need to see more VoIP developers, operators and associated companies to set shops and labs here.
