US-based Vonage has signed a major router pact with D-Link, an end-to-end networking solution provider to offer consumers with a superior all-in-one VoIP wireless solution.
With this strategic deal, both the companies would market the VWR device that is a Wireless-B/G Broadband Router. The device has two phone ports bundled with Vonage’s VoIP service. It is available at Vonage’s website for $59.99, after a $40 instant rebate.
D-Link’s VWR Router is four devices in one box. It includes a wireless 802.11b/g access point, a 4-port switch for Ethernet devices, router for sharing an Internet connection and two standard telephone jacks allowing multiple phone lines.
Since the device is bundled with Vonage’s VoIP service, the customers will be able to receive a complete solution in one box (both hardware and software). We should conclude that the latest VWR device is a perfect choice for the individual and small business that look for a easy setting up a Wireless B/G network along with their Vonage phone service.
