The Federal authorities are looking for the Miami man who is accused of stealing VoIP services and selling them through his illegal company.
The Federal authorities have issued a warrant for the arrest of the fraudster, Edwin Pena, a 23-year-old man from Miami. The warrant was inducted following his failure to compile travel restrictions imposed upon him as part of his U.S. $100,000 bail conditions.
He was arrested on June 7 this year for operating the illegally VoIP business. It was believed that he appeared as a legitimate wholesaler of VoIP services and sold VoIP calls of America’s largest telephony service providers. In the process, he had made more than U.S.$1 million. Now the man is missing.
The above incident is a stark reminder of the fact that VoIP is not secure still now.
