Xfone’s Israeli unit of communications services announced that they got approval from government to provide VoIP services in Israel.
Xfone, is the one of six companies who got licenses to provide long distance services in Israel. This is an experiment by communication ministry to deploy VoIP.
Still Bezeq Israel Telecom is dominating in the domestic landline services but now HOT, cable company will get some market by offering VoIP.
Xfone’s competitor 012 is also offering VoIP in Israel.
