The provider of VoIP applications ZivVa is looking to simplify the creation and installment of VoIP services and OEMs. Vocalocity is providing OEM software for standards-based telephony solutions.
ZivVa announced that the company is empowering the product quality by acquiring Vocalocity.
Due to leadership position of the Vocalocity brand in the market, the combined firm will work in the name of Vocalocity. The firm will provide an OEM-driven standards-based VoIP platform in single brand.
The combination will provide both technologies like ZivVa’s hosted VoIP applications for enterprises and Vocalocity’s technology as well. It will migrate to open telephony platforms by simplifying the development and integration of VoiceXML, CCXML, SIP and other evolving standards. By this way, they can serve both of the customers.
With the help of ZivVa Office, business customers and consumers can access a VoIP platform and, with Vocalocity, OEMs and channel partners can access VoiceXML software.
VocalOSTM, a communication server and open service framework is powering the all voice platform.
Members of the existing Vocalocity executive team will continue to work closely with the acquiring company following the transaction.
